By wpengineRenault, the French car maker, has ended its involvement in the commercial vehicle industry after selling its entire shareholding in AB Volvo.
It became a shareholder in Volvo in 2001 as part of a deal in which Renault Trucks became part of the Volvo Group.
The sale of the 139 million shares has raised some €1.5bn euros for Renault.
