DHL Supply Chain has extended its airline catering service by launching an in-house Food Innovation Council, and offering customers food design and procurement, along with its logistics services.
The Food Innovation Council is a panel of chefs who will design menus that are “supplier-agnostic” so as to create speciality menus with unique food choices.
Chris Jackson, DHL’s vice president, global airline business solutions, said: “This marks a significant extension of our business offering. For the first time, we’re able to provide airline customers with a best-in-class service that combines both catering expertise and global logistics solutions, enabling us to both enhance business performance and passenger experience.”
