3t Logistics, the fourth party logistics provider, is restructuring its operations into three distinct business units, 3t Solo, 3t Symphony and 3t Logistics.
Phil Jones, who previously worked at Yodel and Eddie Stobart has joined the company to initiate 3t Solo, which is a systems-only offering. It allows clients to access 3t’s Global Carrier Management services.
3t Symphony is a carrier network which forges bonds with existing 3t carriers to provide clients with an integrated 3PL type solution.
Tim Fawkes, who previously led new business development at 3t, is now managing director of 3t Logistics.
Steve Twydell has been made chief executive officer, and will have overall responsibility for 3t Logistics, 3t Symphony and 3t Solo.
“The objective is to reposition 3t products in the market to maximise the value we can provide customers. This new structure will enable us to provide greater value through cutting edge technology and the use of our dynamic high quality network of partner carriers,” said Twydell.
