MapMechanics, the routeing and scheduling supplier, has added red routes and car parking data sets for its applications.
Red Routes for NAVTEQ Streets data contains details of the major red route schemes in London and the West Midlands, which between them cover around 590 miles of roads.
In both areas, red routes prohibit stopping, loading and picking up and setting down of passengers at designated times of day. Many are indicated by single or double red lines along the edge of the road, though London’s red route clearways do not all have red lines
