West Midlands logistics firm Twente Express in investing £500,000 in its truck and trailer fleet as part of a wider expansion plan.
The firm reckons revenue increased by some 16 per cent in 2012.
It has invested in solid box double deck trailers and low ride tractors units to keep up with increasing demand on their daily express freight services to and from the Benelux region.
Managing director Trevor Paul said: “We are positive that 2013 will see further growth in our export revenues and the £500k investment puts us in good stead to achieve this.”
The firm is offering a new “pallet tariff” for customers who regularly ship quarter, half and full palletised loads.
