DHL Express has invested £1.5m in a service centre in Oxford to manage an increase in exporting volumes in the area.
Chief executive Phil Couchman opened the 35,144 sq ft site alongside local MP Ed Vaizey, culture minister and MP for Wantage and Didcot.
“Oxford has seen a significant increase in shipments over the last few years, due to the nature of the businesses in the area,” said Couchman. “Global export markets should be the next frontier for all enterprises producing great British products, and through this service centre we can help facilitate growth for these businesses.”
