DB Schenker has invested €41 million in a new 54,520 sq m facility in Singapore.
The new facility will be a shared warehouse for customers from various industries, such as healthcare, electronics and automotive and will be located at the Tampines LogisPark near to Changi International Airport. The space is spread across three floors.
“This new facility acknowledges the continued attractiveness of Singapore as a location to conduct logistics operations. It is a key element of our shared logistics centre strategy that will see many new sites developed across the Asia Pacific Region in the coming years,” says Darren Wedding, senior vice president – contract logistics/SCM, Region Asia Pacific, DB Schenker.
It is due to be completed in the second quarter of 2014.
