Coca Cola Hellenic (CCH) has awarded Tradeteam, the DHL drinks delivery specialist, a three year contract to distribute soft drinks throughout Northern Ireland.
The deal is Tradeteam’s first direct relationship with a soft drinks supplier.
DHL is now handling 1,600 deliveries a week to bulk and direct store customers across Northern Ireland. Under the deal a number of CCH drivers have transferred to DHL.
Deliveries are made on vehicles based at both CCH’s bottling plant in Knockmore Hill, Lisburn as well as Tradeteam’s shared user site in Culcavey.
Coca-Cola Hellenic was formed in 2000 as a result of the merger of the Athens-based Hellenic Bottling Company and the London-based Coca-Cola Beverages. The company services a geographical area stretching from as far west as Galway, Ireland to Petropavlovsk, the easternmost point of Russia.
