Prologis has secured panning approval for a 260,000 sq ft warehouse scheme in Basildon, Essex.
Councillors discussed the proposals for the 11.5 acre former Visteon radiator site on Christopher Martin Road, Basildon last night and gave it the go ahead.
The scheme proposes build to suit warehouses from 72,500 up to 254,000 sq ft with the largest incorporating a 21,800 sq ft three-storey office building, as well room for 200 parking spaces, 40 bicycles and 14 motorbikes. The scheme could create as many as 300 jobs.
The developers have three years to start work.
