The Territorial Army has launched a recruiting campaign and is focusing on the opportunities available in the Royal Logistics Corps.
It says the RLC can providing logisticians with the opportunity to experience army life without making a full time commitment.
There are currently more than 30 roles available, including supply specialists, aviation support officers, technical store men and trainers, port operators and IT systems analysts.
All recruits are given the opportunity to travel around the world on land, at sea and in air, through mountains, desert, built up areas and jungle terrain outside of work hours.
In February, the UK Army began broadcasting a series of live television adverts showing members of the TA in operations, intending to demonstrate the wealth of the opportunities for specialist professionals and raise awareness of the Army’s current logisticians recruitment targets.
Major General Ranald Munro, deputy commander Land Forces (Reserves) said: “There has never been an advertising campaign like this: TA LIVE is an incredibly exciting opportunity to bring the TA to life and show just what a TA soldier does on the ground.
“We think this is a great way to demonstrate and educate the public about the role of the TA and its contribution to the UK Armed Forces.“
