Fresh Connection has called for any further companies wishing to participate in the 2013 awards to come forth. They will join the likes of Mars, Waitrose, Birds Eye and Norbert Dentressangle.
The UK grand final of the competition takes place on Wednesday 12th June.
The event is supported by Toyota Material Handling, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Food Storage & Distribution Federation.
Steve Agg, chief executive of the CILT, said: “The Fresh Connection is an innovative programme for developing current and future managers at all levels in the industry and offers a unique platform to enable participants to extend their supply chain knowledge.”
UK winners will go on to compete in the global final with 20 other countries which take place in Turkey in September.
