Sony DADC has won a contract with Entertainment in Video (EiV) which will see it take responsibility for all of the independent home entertainment provider’s distribution operations in the UK and Ireland.
Sony DADC already authors and manufactures DVDs and BDs for the company and is aiming to help it in its goal to support new business models and targets.
The contract includes pick, pack and ship, as well as customer service and integrated credit management.
Sigi Obermayr, vice president sales at Sony DADC, said: “We are proud to have been selected by EiV to provide our supply chain service, which broadens our service portfolio for this independent film publisher.
“Leveraging our extensive experience and solutions with large studios and independents, Sony DADC provides EiV with end-to-end solutions, including compression and authoring, manufacturing services, order-to-cash and physical distribution.”
