Chris Tyas has been promoted to head of supply chain at Nestlé, where he will head up the global supply chain function at the company. The move, which takes place on 1st July, was revealed by the IGD and confirmed by Nestlé.
Klaus Peter Brickwedde will replace Tyas as supply chain head for Nestlé zone Europe, moving his focus from Germany to the whole of Europe.
Tyas has 35 years of experience in the food industry, having worked in supply chain, manufacturing and human resources within the UK and Europe.
He also works with non-profit industry organisations ECR UK and CS1, where he has been co-chair and vice chairman respectively.
