Reynolds Logistics has chosen Optrak software to centralise transport planning for its Irish fuels and lubricants business.
Optrak will carry out route and load planning for 74 of Reynolds vehicles, across six depots and outbases across Ireland which deliver fuel to forecourts, garages and retail sites.
The deal is aiming to help Reynolds optimise the use of its vehicle fleet while maintaining its levels of customer service and minimising supply chain costs.
“We wanted to be able to plan our Ireland operations from a centralised vehicle routeing system, said Andrew Reynolds, group CEO at Reynolds Logistics.
The two companies have been working together for thirteen years on various parts of Reynolds’ business, but mainly bulk and packaged lubricants.
