North Star Shipping, a division of global shipping and energy services provider The Craig Group, has been awarded a five-year multi-service contract worth £63 million by BP.
“This major award is the latest example of BP executing its long term marine strategy to support its UK offshore operations,” said Mark Hardie, BP’s UK logistics infrastructure manager.
The deal includes four, possibly five, vessels being contracted to the company and sees tanker assist, platform supply and emergency rescue vessels support BP’s North Sea operations.
