Dawsonrentals has invested £14 million in 593 new trailers from Lawrence David, as part of an expansion programme.
The new fleet, which will arrive over a two-year period, includes a range of dry freight vehicles such as boxes, curtain-side and flat-bed trailers.
The first of the new trailers is to be delivered in the next four to six weeks.
John Fletcher, managing director of Dawsonrentals Truck and Trailer, said: “This is a significant investment and reflects our growing confidence in the market and we are very pleased to be investing this in UK manufacturing.”
