The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency has warned van operators that those not complying with regulations would be targeted by the authorities, at the Freight Transport Association’s recent Van Excellence conference.
Gordon Macdonald, VOSA’s head of enforcement policy, said the agency was determined to improve van operational standards and intends to significantly increase the number of roadside inspections, as well as other enforcement activity.
