Independent haulier C M Downton has ordered 180 of the Cartwright Group’s new trailers, hoping to support its growing requirements for new and existing contracts.
The fleet consists of double-deck and hydraulic deck trailers, including longer-length and aerodynamic versions, and has been specifically designed for Downton.
“We’re increasingly requiring larger and more flexible fleets to meet customers’ needs, and help them to respond to what remains a fluid and complex marketplace, said Downton’s director, Rob Emery.
“These trailers will help to ensure we have the capacity and flexibility to meet these increased demands.”
