Power Automation Systems has been chosen by Yearsley Logistics to provide its new Heywood facility with an automated storage and retrieval system, the PowerStor system solution.
The system hopes to provide Yearsley with the ability to store nearly 12,000 pallets into a -22C environment with minimal labour, while delivering the highest throughput of any other comparable technology.
Cory Hypes, executive vice president for Power Automation Systems, said: “It is our aim to alleviate storage solution issues, reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency, and see our customers realise one of the quickest RoIs in the automated warehouse technology sector.”
