US-based logistics group UTi Worldwide has taken a 45,555 sq ft warehouse at Hams Hall near Birmingham.
It has signed a ten year lease with a five year break clause on the site.
Hams Hall has an on-site inter-modal rail freight terminal run by ABP Connect. The terminal provides full inter-modal services to France, Germany and Northern Italy, as well as handling domestic traffic to Scotland and East Coast ports.
AXA Real Estate manages the Hams Hall Distribution Park on behalf of the AXA UK Pension Trustees Corporation fund.
Peter Monks of BNP Paribas Real Estate which acted for AXA, said: “Due to the lack of similar product on the market we received strong interest in this facility, enabling us to complete this letting in a relatively short period of time.”
