Masternaut is to acquire German-based data service provider E.Novation BTC.
As well as offering solutions for the archiving and analysis of vehicle data via digital tachograph, E.Novation monitors all European toll charges and vehicle costs.
Due for completion by the end of the month, the acquisition is set to mark an important step in the development of Masternaut’s systems, by enhancing its technology offering with the ability to transmit tachograph data wirelessly.
The data, which details driver and vehicle information, such as speed, driving and resting times, as well as historical details including mileage, aims to eliminate the need for manual collection and reduce associated costs.
