Yusen Logistics has launched new weekly Less Than Container Load (LCL) services from Hong Kong and Shanghai to Southampton, due to demand for enhanced services for the movement of smaller cargo volumes internationally.
The new services will see the company offer transit times of 24 days from Hong Kong to Southampton and 30 days from Shanghai.
Yusen says containers will be prioritised to meet requirements thanks to its offering of direct control over the release of cargo at destination.
The new offering will also include nationwide warehousing and a number of value added services.
