The Hut Group, the online retailer and brand owner, has extended its lease on a 110,000 sq ft distribution centre in Warrington.
The business was launched in 2004 and has a range of retail sites covering entertainment, fashion, gifting and health & beauty, and sports nutrition.
It has agreed a new three-year lease with a break in 2015 on the premises at Stretton Distribution Centre.
The property has been refurbished and re-clad and includes two-storey office accommodation.
Julien Kenny-Levick, director, logistics and industrial at the North West office of Colliers secured the letting to The Hut Group on behalf of landlord Carmel Southend.
He said: “The Hut Group is one of the North West’s most ambitious and entrepreneurial businesses and this renewed commitment to a strategically positioned distribution hub is indicative of its ongoing success.”
Stretton Distribution Centre is one mile from the M6/M56 interchange and directly accessible via a new expressway. Manchester and Liverpool are 30 minutes drive-time away and more than 60 per cent of the UK population lives within a four hour drive of Warrington.
