Onward Holdings is targeting the food sector with two purpose built food distribution centres located at Langthwaite Business Park, South Kirkby, near Wakefield.
The DCs total 212,500 sq ft (122,800 and just under 90,000 sq f respectively) and a total of 14 loading docks.
Unit 16, the bigger of the two, was originally built as a regional distribution centre for food giant Quaker Oats.
Currently, Wakefield Metropolitan Council is dispensing, in conjunction with the West Yorkshire LEP and the Government, grants of up to £10,000 for each new job created on the site.
Onward Holdings director Neil Storey, said: “Langthwaite Business Park’s location is ideal for those involved in food distribution and or bulk breaking who also require easy access to the ports for importing or exporting food items.”
