Davies Turner is looking for applicants for its fourth National Apprenticeship programme.
Apprentices will undertake a 20-month long training programme with Davies Turner, which will include the multimodal forwarding qualification developed and accredited by the British International Freight Association.
Applicants, who will be recruited from appropriate web sites as well as training and educational establishments, will be school leavers and graduates between 18 and 24 years old.
“All will benefit from mostly in-house training and mentoring from our qualified existing staff, which provides the perfect foundation to a career in supply chain management, said chairman Philip Stephenson.
“The next set of trainees will be joining us at an exciting time as global trade starts to recover and demand strengthens in the freight industry, so we are already expanding further our portfolio of services for British exporters and importers.”
