Virgin Atlantic Airways’ Logistics centre in London, chose Crane Worldwide to move shipments of engineering steps to several of Virgin’s international airport outstations.
The engineering steps allow the company’s engineers to access maintenance areas on their aircraft.
“Crane Worldwide contacted the manufacturers and planned each fitment of the containers,” said Virgin’s stores operations manager Stephen Kerr.
“They ran the whole process as instructed without delay and to budget, saving us both time and money.”
