Freight forwarder CH Robinson Europe has opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey, as part of its ongoing European expansion.
The company says demand for logistics services in Turkey is increasing everyday, and that, with more than 40 universities in the Istanbul region, it shows potential access to a large and talented workforce.
The office primarily offers international road freight services, but will look at expanding into a range of services including freight options, quick payment and automated communications.
Gokalp Ertugrul, who has been working for CH Robinson since 2006, will head the new office.
