Yodel has backed Tesco staff on a 500-mile charity bike ride, which is raising funds for the retailer’s national charity partner, Diabetes UK.
The fundraiser saw 14 of Tesco Cardiff and Dundee customer service centres’ employees set off from Cardiff on Thursday 20th June, with the goal to cycle an average of 100 miles a day, until they reached the finishing line today, in Dundee.
“Just like our deliveries for Tesco, planning, determination and teamwork are crucial and it gives us great pleasure to help them in raising such a fantastic sum of money for a very worthy cause,” said Neil Lloyd, CEO of Yodel.
The ride had an overall fundraising target of £60,000.
