More than 20 retailers, manufacturers and logistics organisations are now backing Novus, the new degree course which guarantees a job to graduates.
The degree scheme was launched earlier this year. The four year Logistics and Supply Chain BSc degree course is being run by Huddersfield University and the first students will start their degree in September.
Andy Kaye, who chairs the trust’s steering committee, said: We are thrilled to have received such emphatic support from the industry for this innovative degree which is set to insire tomorrow’s supply chain professionals and encourage the best talent to consider a career in the sector.”
To qualify for a guaranteed graduate job students must achieve a satisfactory placement report, a satisfactory academic report and the minimum achievement of a 2:1 degree.

Sponsor companies are expected to support the degree with mentoring, paid placements in holidays and the third year, and a commitment to provde at least one graduate job per year.
