Potter Logistics has teamed up with waste management company Chloros Environmental to open a new 4,000 sq ft hazardous waste transfer facility at Potter’s COMAH Droitwich distribution centre, in the West Midlands.
The fully licensed site will specialise in the storage and distribution of chemicals and hazardous products, and be operated by a team of chemical engineers, who are all aware of the issues and requirements of handling waste chemicals.
“Health, safety and the environment are always at the top of our agenda and the highly qualified Chloros Environmental team will run this facility in compliance with the strictest regulations,” said Potter Logistics’ managing director, Matthew Lamb.
Richard Hurdle, director of Chloros Environmental added: “This new joint venture will create openings for us to enter new markets and allow us to build on our growing reputation within the hazardous waste industry.”
