DHL Freight is launching GreenLink, which will consolidate its lead logistics provider accounts across the world.
It currently has some 60 LLP customers across Europe, the US and Asia. It offers a range of services, which are modular in nature and are customised to customer needs. Services include transport procurement, freight audit and payment, transport and carrier management to network design and consultation.
GreenLink uses a proprietary transport management system called Plato to support the service.
Bringing the services together under one, neutral GreenLink name “will allow us to marry the global know-how with the local teams that understand their respective markets and customer requirements,” said Amadou Diallo, CEO of DHL Freight.
