Gist has won a contract extension with UK producer of chilled, private-label seafood products, Macrae, which will see it increase the volumes it already manages, to include a number of the country’s major food retailers.
The partnership sees Gist provide Macrae with a supply chain solution, with services such as the collection of seafood products from the production facility, and the transport of these goods under strict temperature controlled conditions.
“Gist’s temperature controlled logistics network has a wide reach and their experience of delivering to all major UK retailers makes them a good fit with our requirements,” said head of supply chain at Macrae, Gary Paterson.
