Gregory Distribution has acquired the business, assets and goodwill of Oxfordshire-based Interoute Transport Services Ltd, which went into administration on 17 May 2013.
All of Interoute’s previous employees will keep their jobs as part of the acquisition, which includes a 120,000 sq ft warehouse.
Gregory said the operation had a strong fit within its existing nearby sites in Bicester, Minworth and Milton Keynes.
All key customers have been retained.
Interoute had sales of £6.4m in the year to 31st December 2012 and its accounts showed an operating profit of £183,000.
Carl Jackson and Kelly Mitchell of Quantuma Restructuring were appointed administrators on 17th May.
Interoute was originally part of the United Transport group, which in the 1980s was a major player in the UK market.
