C. H. Robinson has opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey, to offer international road freight services, as part of the company’s ongoing European expansion.
The services will include both full and less-than-truckload transport modes and a range of freight options, quick payment and automated communications.
Gokalp Ertugrul, a C. H. Robinson employee since 2006 and native of the country, will head the new facility. He said: “Returning to Turkey and opening the company’s first office there has been a dream of mine.
“Our customers and contract carriers will benefit by having access to a team specialised in the Turkish marker and located in the country.”
