Sage UK has installed Glowled’s LED lighting to its 30,000 sq ft distribution centre in Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, hoping to now save at least £9,000 a year in energy costs.
The lighting was designed and installed by Washington-based Glowled to replace the facility’s Metal Halide fittings.
Sage reckons the new system’s wireless control platform enables the company to make operational changes, as well as monitor and download energy use and data from its headquarters, without having to visit the site.
