Young’s Seafood has implemented LANDesk Software’s Total User Management system, in order to transform and secure its IT operations by automating software management and giving control of all end user devices from one central point.
Young’s will use the system to support its employees on both mobile and fixed devices, as well as to automate common support processes and manage software licenses.
LANDesk says it is user-centric, rather than device-centric, which allows businesses to purchase just one licence per employee, rather than per device.
The system gives a dashboard for user control, management, security, and support, while maximising the productivity of employees “anywhere, anytime, regardless of device or application.”
