The Logistics Institute, Hull University Business School is hosting a new research club which will see practitioners and academics work together to explore ways to mitigate risk and enhance resilience in the supply chain.
Chair of the club, Dr Omera Khan, said: “‘In today’s volatile operating environment, where disruptions to the supply chain are omnipresent, it is important for businesses to understand where they are most vulnerable to risk.
“The club offers its members the opportunity to network with leading experts from academia and industry to share expertise, access new ideas, tools and frameworks to meet the challenges of managing risk and improve supply chain resilience.
“Being able to use information immediately has already been of real benefit to our members and we hope to widen our reach in the future.”
