Hyster is celebrating 60 years of manufacturing at its factory in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, having reported a record number of Big Trucks produced last year.
The company assembled 1,927 units at the site in 2012, which included its 1,000th Big Truck, a Tier 4i / Stage IIIB Hyster ReachStacker.
“It is the first time in the plant’s 60 year history that the factory has produced such volumes of trucks with a lift capacity of six to 52 tonnes,” said plant manager Wim van Dam.
