A Davies Transport has relocated its entire operation from Dewsbury to a 55,000 sq ft site at Fallbank Industrial Estate, in Barnsley, to extend its range of services, purchase new fleet and take on additional staff.
The company has created three new jobs with the move to South Yorkshire, and has been given business support from Enterprising Barnsley with the assistance of funding from Barnsley Council.
“We needed larger premises and the move has enabled us to look closely at the business and diversify which is considerably strengthening our overall offer,” said sales manager Shaun Frain.
