Honeywell has implemented the Remote MasterMind 4.0 device management software, to enhance management of consumer mobile devices, which it says is a key benefit to workplaces with a bring-your-own-device programme.
The software will support Honeywell’s devices, such as the forthcoming Dolphin 70e Black mobile computer and scanners, and its Stratos Bioptic Scanner.
Honeywell says the updated ReM 4.0 saves time and money for its clients, by providing a single person, or group of administrators, one dashboard to manage devices across a business, as well as to track device locations, and routes travelled.
“The range of devices used by a typical enterprise is expanding to maximise each worker’s productivity, so it’s a priority for Honeywell to keep improving our remote device management software,” said Peter Fehl, vice president of marketing, Honeywell Scanning & Mobility.
