By wpengineHoyer has successfully transported biodiesel from Brazil to the Netherlands by tank container, which the company hopes will open up new market opportunities in its overseas transport operations.
Shipped from Santos, the cargo arrived at destination, in Rotterdam, after 20 days.
Hoyer says tank containers are a viable alternative to tank ships, particularly for small volumes of less than 1,000 tonnes.
