Malcolm Logistics has awarded a five-year contract to Goodyear Dunlop, which will see the manufacturer fit more than 1,000 of the company’s trailers and 300 of its tractor units with its latest tyres.
Malcolm Logistics said it was impressed by the fuel savings and performance of Goodyear’s new tyres and that this was a significant factor in signing the deal.
“Running a fuel efficient fleet is a strong priority for us, alongside minimising the carbon emissions of our trucks, said Steve Sugden, fleet engineer for Malcolm Logistics.
“The benefits the Goodyear product combination offers will help us to improve our own customer service and reduce fleet costs.”
