Standard Motor Transport (SMT) has relocated to Potter Logistics’ Droitwich distribution centre on a 12 month rolling contract.
SMT is leasing warehousing space and will be positioning its delivery and collection vehicles at the Droitwich DC. The company has already been providing transport services to Potter Logistics for over 20 years.
Steve McCarthy, general manager of the Potter Logistics Droitwich DC, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for us to strengthen our position as Palletline members. By forming this alliance we can now offer Palletline services from two locations, Droitwich and York.”
* Palletline has appointed Martin Rantle sales & marketing director; Maria Holmes-Keeling marketing manager; and Debbie Wyatt HR and training manager.
Rantle spent 30 years with TNT Express holding senior sales and marketing positions in its European, American and Asia Pacific Business Units. After 30 years of service with TNT he returned to the UK as interim senior consultant for DHL Express before joining Palletline.
