Gregory Distribution has won a £300,000 contract to deliver plastic milk containers from the High Wycombe manufacturer Blowplast to the Medina Dairy operation in Wickham near Fareham in Hampshire.
The contract involving nine trailers came about through word of mouth recommendation and represents a considerable opportunity for further growth. It will be operated from our Medina Wickham office.
* South West Water has awarded Gregory a three year contract to transport ‘cake’ – fertiliser made from dried and processed biosolids – to farms throughout the South West.
The new business is being managed by contract manager Jamie Walker. Gregory has acquired 12 new vehicles for the contract including Scania-based Wilcox tippers and Mercedes Multilift hooklifts which will be used throughout Devon and Cornwall.
South West Water also awarded Gregory a seven year extension to the contract to transport liquid sludges from satellite works to treatment centres throughout Devon and Cornwall.
