John Boyd has joined Hellmann Worldwide as general air freight manager responsible for product strategy and business development.
He has experience of the air cargo market on both sides of the Atlantic including seven years working for DHL.
He said: Hellmann UK is a company with a global reputation and prestige, so I’m proud to be on the staff. Obviously, the economic climate is still difficult, but I’m confident that we have the team and operations in place to really progress the air freight side of the business.
In a separate move, former general ocean freight manager Adrian Jennings has been promoted to the role of director of ocean freight charges with maintaining and expanding growth within the sector.
