Arrow XL, the two-man delivery specialist, has extended the cut-off time for its 48 hour delivery service for retailers.
Retailers can place orders up to 9pm, instead of the previous cut-off of 4pm, enabling them to offer their customers extended shopping hours.
Jim Roebuck, logistics director of Shop Direct which uses the service, said: “Being able to offer quicker delivery services can make the difference in a customer choosing to shop with us.”
To benefit from the service retailers have to send across details of the order by 9pm. This new service is available to 98 per cent of the UK mainland population, Monday to Saturday, six days a week.
Gary Monk, CEO of Arrow XL, said: “In extending the cut-off time for retailers to send orders to Arrow XL, we’re offering their customers more time to purchase and still benefit from a flexible and convenient 48 hour delivery service.”
