Norbert Dentressangle is to open a 295,000 sq ft Transport Services hub at Crick to replace sites in Northampton and Rowley Regis.
When it opens in January, Crick will act as an ambient transport hub serving the night and day distribution networks, and a national magazine sortation centre. In addition it will serve as the UK head office.
Operations from Northampton and Rowley Regis will transfer into the new facility between January and May, after which these sites will be closed.
Mike Bridges, managing director of Norbert Dentressangle Transport Services, said: “In line with our aim of continually improving our service to customers, Norbert Dentressangle is investing in a major facility at Crick for its UK Transport operations, providing a strategically important Midlands hub and a new location for its central support services.
Last month Dentressangle opened new site for Specialist Services at Taunton.
