Global logistics and transport solutions company, BDP International, has taken a majority equity position in Swedish company, Polar Logistics AB, which will now operate as BDP International Sweden.
“Given the strength of the Scandinavian economies, particularly export-oriented Sweden, it was imperative to reinforce our presence in the region,” said BDP chief venture officer H. Timothy Bolte.
The new venture will operate under Polar’s current management team, which is led by Slava Caisin, who said: “This deal not only expands our global footprint, but gives our customers access to a wide range of services and solutions.”
