By wpengineTNT Express Worldwide has invested in a new scanning facility at Suvarnabhumi Airport, in Bangkok, Thailand, to detect microscopic particle presence of both drugs and explosives.
The company says the investment shows its commitment to the development of the country as a main transport hub in ASEAN.
Produced by Smiths Detection, the Ionscan 500DT will run as a second screening method beside the standard dual view X-Ray machine inspection system.
