Chemicals firm Impact Fluid Solutions has awarded a multi-year contract to MIQ Logistics, to handle global logistics services, to gain greater control over their transport spend, and increased visibility to their supply chain.
The contract covers c-oordination with suppliers to receive inbound freight at a new distribution facility in Houston, Texas, USA; warehouse management and value added services; and ultimately management of the outbound shipments.
The new distribution centre in Texas was designed for Impact Fluid Solutions’ requirements and is staffed with MIQ Logistics personnel less than a mile from the MIQ Logistics Global Services Centre.
